Intent Strategy Group has partnered with simple meetings technology platform
Bizly to integrate the latter technology into its larger meetings management
offering. Called Simplified+, the offering creates an end-to-end platform that
traffics simple meetings separately from complex meetings through a single
intake form defined by the client. Simple meetings are directed through the Bizly
platform, while more complex events are channeled to a platform like Cvent and follow
through with the third-party meetings provider.

According to the companies, the integration creates a one-stop-shop
for a spectrum of meeting types, with the ability to bring data capture and reporting
together in the management system to track total meetings spend and trends.

Small meetings can represent up to 80 percent of total
planned meetings for an organization, but they are often organized by ad hoc
planners. Intuitive technology is a plus in this scenario, but ISG also will
provide a support system for ad hoc organizers through a Simplified+ concierge program
to assist users in optimizing Bizly’s feature set.

“The legacy challenge has been the ability to ‘right size’ a
solution for this book of business where Cvent and an elaborate M&E intake
process can be overkill,” said ISG VP and principle consultant Lisa Palmeri. “Simplified+
would benefit any organization that isn’t able to capture this large book of business
today using existing processes and technologies.” The platform is available now.
